Crop Farmers plan, organise, control, coordinate and perform farming operations to grow crops. They also maintain and evaluate records of farming activities, monitor market activity, and plan crop preparation and production to meet contract requirements and market demand. 
Some of the job titles of Crop Farmers are Cotton Grower, Flower Grower or Floriculturist, Fruit or Nut Grower, Mixed Crop Farmer, etc. They also manage business capital including budgeting, taxation, debt and loan management.
 
While there are jobs in many parts of Australia, South Australia has a large share of Crop Farmers. They nearly all work in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing.

  2. Knowledge in Food Production, Administration and Management, Mathematics, Production and Processing, Economics and Accounting rate as the most important
  3. Whilst skills can be improved through training and experience, the most important ones for a Crop Farmer are:  Critical Thinking, Judgement and Decision Making, Speaking, Coordination and Monitoring
  4. The physical and social abilities workers rate as the most important for a Crop Farmer are Deductive Reasoning, Problem Sensitivity, Inductive Reasoning, Oral Comprehension, and Oral Expression.
